দিল্লিতে জল সমস্যার সমাধানে কেন্দ্রীয় হস্তক্ষেপের দাবি জানিয়ে দিল্লিতে অনশনে বসেছিলেন জলমন্ত্রী অতিশি মারলেনা (Atishi Marlena)। দীর্ঘ ৪ দিন আন্দোলন চালানোর পর অবশেষে পঞ্চম দিন অর্থাৎ মঙ্গলবার ভোরে অসুস্থ হয়ে পড়েন তিনি। এরপর তড়িঘড়ি লোকনায়ক জয়প্রকাশ হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করা হয় তাঁকে। বুধবার সকালে সমাজবাদী পার্টির সুপ্রিমো অখিলেশ যাদব ( ) দেখা করতে দিল্লিতে আসেন। মন্ত্রী অতিশির সঙ্গে দেখা করার পাশাপাশি চিকিৎসকদের সঙ্গে তাঁর শারীরিক পরিস্থিতি নিয়ে আলোচনাও করেন অখিলেশ। এরপর হাসপাতাল থেকে বেরোনোর সময় সপা নেতা জানান, অতিশি যিনি অত্যন্ত শক্তিশালী একজন মহিলা। উনি সুস্থ হয়ে উঠবেন আমাদের বিশ্বাস। উনি নিজেদের লোকদের জন্য লড়তে জানেন। দিল্লিবাসীর সমস্যার সমাধানের জন্য প্রতিদিন উনি লড়ে যাচ্ছেন।
