Vijay: ওয়াকফ আইনকে চ্য়ালেঞ্জ জানিয়ে সুপ্রিম কোর্টে নেতা-অভিনেতা বিজয়
নয়া ওয়াকফ আইন প্রত্যাহারের দাবিতে আন্দোলনেও নামছেন বিজয়। ওয়াকফ সংশোধিত আইনকে চ্য়ালেঞ্জ জানিয়ে শীর্ষ আদালতে মামলা করলেন।
তামিলনাড়ুর রাজনীতিতে নয়া শক্তি চলচ্চিত্র তারকা বিজয়ের বড় পদক্ষেপ। নরেন্দ্র মোদী সরকারের আনা নয়া ওয়াকফ আইন ( Waqf Amendment Act 2025) কে চ্য়ালেঞ্জ জানিয়ে সুপ্রিম কোর্টের দ্বারস্থ হলেন তামিলাগা ভেত্তেরি কাজগাম পার্টির প্রধান তথা তারকা অভিনেতা বিজয় (Vijay)। নয়া ওয়াকফ আইন প্রত্যাহারের দাবিতে আন্দোলনেও নামছেন বিজয়। ওয়াকফ সংশোধিত আইনকে চ্য়ালেঞ্জ জানিয়ে শীর্ষ আদালতে মামলা করলেন।
দক্ষিণের সিনেমার বড় তারকা-নেতা থালাপতি বিজয় আগেই বলেছিলেন, নয়া ওয়াকফ আইন গণতন্ত্র বিরোধী। বিজেপির বিরুদ্ধে মুসলিম বিরোধী রাজনীতির অভিযোগও করেন তামিল রাজনীতির নয়া চরিত্র বিজয়। দেশের বিভিন্ন প্রান্তের মত নয়া ওয়াকফ আইন নিয়ে তামিলনাড়ুতেও বড় বিক্ষোভ-প্রকিবাদ আন্দোলন চলছে।
