দেশে মাঙ্কিপক্সে (Monkeypox) আক্রান্তের সংখ্যা বেড়ে দাঁড়িয়েছে ৯। দেশে এখনও পর্যন্ত একজনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। এই পরিস্থিতিতে উদ্বেগ প্রকাশ করেছেন স্বাস্থ্য বিশেষজ্ঞরা। আজ স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার কল্যাণ মন্ত্রক (MoHfW) মাঙ্কিপক্স কী, এর উপসর্গ কী কী ও এর চিকিৎসা সংক্রান্ত তথ্য প্রকাশ করেছে। গতকাল মাঙ্কিপক্স হলে কী কী করণীয় আর কী কী করা যাবে না, তার তালিকা তৈরি করে দিয়েছিল স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার কল্যাণ মন্ত্রক (Ministry of Health)। একটি টুইট পোস্টে স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার কল্যাণ মন্ত্রক জানিয়েছে, "কেউ যদি সংক্রামিত ব্যক্তির সঙ্গে দীর্ঘক্ষণ বা বারবার যোগাযোগ রাখেন, তাহলে তাঁর মাঙ্কিপক্সে আক্রান্ত হওয়ার সম্ভাবনা প্রবল।"
