BJP's North Bengal Bandh: বিজেপির ডাকা উত্তরবঙ্গ বনধে অশান্তি, বাস ভাঙচুর, অবরোধ জাতীয় সড়ক
উত্তর দিনাজপুরের কালিয়াগঞ্জ ইস্যুতে বিজেপি-র ডাকা উত্তরবঙ্গ বনধে বিক্ষিপ্ত অশান্তি, জাতীয় সড়ক অবরোধ, বাস লক্ষ্য করে ইঁট।
উত্তর দিনাজপুরের কালিয়াগঞ্জ ইস্যুতে বিজেপি-র ডাকা উত্তরবঙ্গ বনধে বিক্ষিপ্ত অশান্তি, জাতীয় সড়ক অবরোধ, বাস লক্ষ্য করে ইঁট। তবে সামগ্রিকভাবে বিজেপির বনধে তেমন বড় সাড়া পড়ল না। শিলিগুড়িতে বেশীরভাগ দোকান-বাজারই খোলা থাকল। তবে মালদা, কোচবিহারে মোটের ওপর প্রভাব পড়েছে বিজেপি-র ডাকা বনধে। কোচবিহারে উত্তরবঙ্গ রাজ্য সরকারী বাসে ইঁট, পাথর ছোড়ার অভিযোগ উঠল বিজেপি সমর্থকদের বিরুদ্ধে।
মালদায় জাতীয় সড়কের ওপর বসে পড়লেন বনধের সমর্থনে নামা বিজেপি সর্মথকরা। হরিপুর কামাখ্যাগুড়ি রাজ্য সড়কে অবরোধ করলেন বনধ সমর্থকরা। বনধের উত্তেজনার রুখতে মোতায়েন করা হয়েছে বিশাল সংখ্যক পুলিশ বাহিনি।

কালিয়াগঞ্জের রাধিকাপুর গ্রামে বিজেপি কর্মী মৃত্যুঞ্জয় বর্মন পুলিশের গুলিতে মারা গিয়েছেন। এমন অভিযোগ তুলে উত্তরবঙ্গ জুড়ে আজ, শুক্রবার বনধ ডেকেছে গেরুয়া শিবির।
