দিল্লিতে জি ২০ বৈঠকে (G20 Summit) যোগ দেওয়ার পর ভিয়েতনাম গেছেন আমেরিকার রাষ্ট্রপতি জো বাইডেন (US President Joe Biden)। সেখান থেকে টুইট করে দু-দেশের সম্পর্কের ভিত্তিতে মহাত্মা গান্ধীর আস্থার আদর্শ (Mahatma Gandhi’s principal of trusteeship) রয়েছে বলে উল্লেখ করলেন।
তিনি লেখেন, ভারত (India) ও আমেরিকার (United States) সম্পর্কের গভীরে রয়েছে মহাত্মা গান্ধীর আস্থার আদর্শ। যে গ্রহে (planet) আমরা একসঙ্গে বাস করি তার মঙ্গলের স্বার্থে ওই আদর্শ আমরা উভয়েই মেনে চলি। ধন্যবাদ প্রধানমন্ত্রী (Prime Minister) আজকে এখানে আসার সুযোগ দেওয়ার জন্য।
