চিনের (China) সাংহাই জুড়ে কোভিডের তোড় বাড়ছে। ফলে সাংহাইতে (Shanghai) চলছে কড়া লকডাউন। কোভিড রুখতে চিনের অন্য বড় শহরগুলির মত সাংহাইতেও নেওয়া হয় 'জিরো কোভিড পলিসি'। সাংহাই জুড়ে ২৫ মিলিয়ন মানুষ কঠোর লকডাউনের ঘেরাটোপে। ফলে স্থানীয় প্রশাসনের তরফে জানানো হয়, কোভিড রুখতে গোটা সাংহাইয়ের মানুষকে কঠোর লকডাউনে (Lockdown) রেখেছেন তাঁরা। করোনা (COVID 19) যাতে দ্বিতীয়বার না ছড়ায়, তার জন্যই সাংহাইতে জিরো কোভিড পলিসি নেওয়া হয়েছে বলেও জানানো হয় চিনা প্রশাসনের তরফে। প্রসঙ্গত গত এপ্রিল মাস থেকে সাংহাইতে লকডাউন শুরু হয়। ফলে গত মাস থেকেই ঘরবন্দি সাংহাইয়ের ১৬টিি জেলার ২৫ মিলিয়ন মানুষ।
