যুদ্ধ বিধ্বস্ত ইউক্রেনের মারিউপল শহরের রুশ সেনার হাতে বন্দি রয়েছে ৩ লাখ জনতা। এই বিস্ফোরক তথ্য প্রকাশ্যে আনলেন ইউক্রেনের বিদেশমন্ত্রী দিমিত্র কুলবা (Dmytro Kuleba )। তিনি বলেন, “ICRC-র সঙ্গে মধ্যস্থতা থাকা সত্ত্বেও রাশিয়া এক্ষেত্রে জনসাধারণকে নিরাপদে উদ্ধারের চুক্তি লঙ্ঘন করেছে। রাশিয়ার কবলে এখন ৩ লাখ জনতা। গতকাল জলের অভাবে এক শিশুর মৃত্যুও হয়েছে।”
