ভারতের প্রজাতন্ত্র দিবসে লন্ডনে বড় ঝামেলা। রবিবার ভারতীয় দূতাবাসের সামনে ভারত বিরোধী স্লোগান দিতে থাকে একদল খালিস্তানী সমর্থকরা। সেই সময় প্রবাসী ভারতীয়রা পাল্টা, দেশের জয়গানের স্লোগান তোলেন। উত্তপ্ত হয়ে ওঠে পরিস্থিতি। প্রথমে খালিস্তানী সমর্থকরা তেড়ে যান প্রবাসী ভারতীদের দিকে। পরিস্থিতি সামলাতে পুলিশ চলে আসে। প্রবাসী ভারতীয়দের অভিযোগ, খালিস্তানী সমর্থকরা স্লোগানে বারবার দেশকে নিয়ে আপত্তিকর কথা বলতে থাকে।
