শ্রীলঙ্কার মত অর্থনৈতিক সঙ্কটে বেহাল আফ্রিকার দেশ কেনিয়া। দ্বীপরাষ্ট্র শ্রীলঙ্কা (Srilanka)-র সঙ্গে মিলে গেল জঙ্গলের দেশ কেনিয়ার জ্বালানী তেল নিয়ে হাহাকারের খবর। কেনিয়ার পশ্চিমাংশে জ্বালানী তেল পুরোপুরি শূন্য হয়ে গিয়েছে। কেনিয়ার পেট্রোলের স্টেশনগুলিতে লম্বা লাইন। পেট্রোল-ডিজেলের রাস্তাঘাটে গাড়ির সংখ্যা খুবই কমে গিয়েছে।
