হাইতির (Haiti) পরিস্থিতি কার্যত বিপর্যয়ের রূপ নিয়েছে। জানানো হল রাষ্ট্রসংঘের (UN) তরফে। হাইতিতে যে গৃহযুদ্ধ শুরু হয়েছে,তার জেরে সে দেশের পরিস্থিতি ক্রমশ খারাপ হচ্ছে। হাইতির পরিস্থিতি বর্তমানে বিপর্যয়ের রূপ নিয়েছে। সে দেশের ১৫০০-র বেশি মানুষের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। এমনই জানানো হয় রাষ্ট্রসংঘের তরফে। হাইতিতে যে গৃহযুদ্ধ এবং হিংসা শুরু হয়েছে,তাতে ইন্ধন দেওয়ার জন্য অস্ত্র সরবারহ করা হচ্ছে। সেই অস্ত্র কোথা থেকে আসছে বলেও প্রশ্ন তোলে রাষ্ট্রসংঘ।
