ভারত বাংলাদেশ সীমান্তের কাছে প্রায় ৩ কোটি টাকার সোনা বাজেয়াপ্ত করল শুল্ক দফতরের আধিকারিকেরা। ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে উত্তর ২৪ পরগনার হাবড়াতে।
শুল্ক দফতরের তরফে জানানো হয়েছে যে এই সোনা কলকাতা থেকে উত্তর ২৪ পরগনার হাবড়াতে নিয়ে যাওয়া হচ্ছিল যেটি ভারত বাংলাদেশ সীমান্তের কাছাকাছি অবস্থিত।
ঘটনার জেরে গ্রেফতার করা হয়েছে ২ ব্যক্তিকে।
