কলকাতা: পশুজাত প্রোটিন (Animal Protein) সমৃদ্ধ খাদ্য উৎপাদনে দেশে সব থেকে এগিয়ে রয়েছে বাংলা। মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় আজ সোশ্যাল মিডিয়া প্লাটফর্ম এক্স হ্যান্ডলে লিখেছেন, ‘জেনে আনন্দিত যে বাংলা ভারতের সর্বোচ্চ প্রাণী প্রোটিন উৎপাদনকারী হয়ে উঠেছে, এমনকি উত্তর প্রদেশের মতো বড় রাজ্যকেও ছাড়িয়ে গিয়েছে। ভারত সরকারও তা স্বীকার করেছে এবং সর্বজনীনভাবে বাংলার প্রশংসা করেছে।’
সম্প্রতি GOI-এর প্রকাশিত পশুপালন পরিসংখ্যান ২০২৪ অনুযায়ী, বাংলা এখন দেশের সর্বোচ্চ মাংস উৎপাদনকারী, জাতীয় উৎপাদনে ১২.৬২%।
দুধ উৎপাদনে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ দেশের সর্বোচ্চ বার্ষিক বৃদ্ধির হার রেকর্ড করেছে।পোল্ট্রি খাতে ও ডিম উৎপাদনে আমাদের বার্ষিক বৃদ্ধির হার ১৮.০৭% যা জাতীয় গড় ৩.১৮%। দেখুন পোস্ট-
