উত্তরবঙ্গে (North Bengal Flood) শুরু হয়েছে ভয়াবহ বন্যা। দার্জিলিং (Darjeeling) থেকে মিরিক, সর্বত্র বন্যা, ধসে বিপর্যস্ত জনজীবন। উত্তরবঙ্গের পরিস্থিতি যখন খারাপ হচ্ছে, সেই সময় একের পর এক প্রাণহানির খবর প্রকাশ্যে আসছে। মানুষের সঙ্গে পশু, পাখিরাও জীবন নিয়ে লড়াই শুরু করেছে। তেমনই একটি ছবি উঠে এল উত্তরবঙ্গ থেকে।
যে ভিডিয়োতে (North Bengal Flood Video) দেখা যায়, তোর্সার জলের তোড়ে ভেসে আসছে একটি গন্ডার। জলের স্রোতে ভেসে আসা গন্ডারটি কোনওক্রমে ভেসে এসে ডাঙায় উঠতে সক্ষম হয় এবং নিজের প্রাণ রক্ষা করে।
প্রবল বন্যা, ধসে দার্জিলিং থেকে মিরিকে যাওয়ার সেতু ভেঙে পড়েছে। সবচেয়ে বেশি প্রাণহানির খবর মিলছে মিরিক থেকে। ঘরবাড়ি থেকে রাস্তাঘাট, প্রবল ধসের মুখে কার্যত ভেঙে পড়েছে উত্তরবঙ্গ। সেই ছবি প্রকাশ্যে আসতেই তা দেখে মানুষ আঁতকে উঠতে শুরু করেছেন।
