Nepal Situation Alert In Bengal: নেপালের অশান্ত পরিস্থিতিতে উদ্বেগে রাজ্য সরকার, উত্তরবঙ্গের কয়েকটি জেলা প্রশাসনকে সতর্ক থাকার নির্দেশ
ফেসবুক, হোয়াটসঅ্যাপ সহ বিভিন্ন সামাজিক গণমাধ্যম নিষিদ্ধ ঘোষণা কে কেন্দ্র করে নেপালের অশান্ত পরিস্থিতির আঁচ যেন এই রাজ্যের উপরে না পড়ে সেই জন্য রাজ্য সরকার উত্তরবঙ্গের কয়েকটি জেলা প্রশাসনকে সতর্ক থাকার নির্দেশ দিয়েছে। রাজ্য পুলিশের ডিজি রাজীব কুমার উত্তরবঙ্গের আইজি, নেপাল সীমান্তবর্তী দার্জিলিং এর পুলিশ সুপার ও শিলিগুড়ি পুলিশ কমিশনারকে জেলার নেপাল লাগোয়া এলাকাগুলিতে নজরদারি রাখার নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন বলে নবান্ন সূত্রে জানা গিয়েছে। পরিস্থিতি কোনভাবে অস্বাভাবিক হলে প্রথম থেকেই তা করা হাতে মোকাবিলা করার কথা বলা হয়েছে।

এবং নেপাল সরকারের বিরুদ্ধে দুর্নীতির অভিযোগের প্রতিবাদে বিক্ষোভের মধ্যে পানিট্যাঙ্কিতে ভারত-নেপাল সীমান্তেও উচ্চ সতর্কতা জারি করা হয়েছে। দার্জিলিং এর এসপি প্রবীণ প্রকাশ বলেন, "এখানে একটি পুলিশ ফাঁড়ি স্থাপন করা হয়েছে এবং বাহিনী মোতায়েন করা হয়েছে। আমরা সতর্ক অবস্থায় আছি এবং পরিস্থিতি পর্যবেক্ষণ করছি।"
