Murshidabad: চোখের সামনে গঙ্গায় তলিয়ে গেল পরপর বাড়ি, পুজোর মুখে সর্বশান্ত ১০টি পরিবার
নদী পারে ভয়াবহ ভাঙন দেখে আতঙ্কিত কিছু পরিবার ইতিমধ্যেই ঘরবাড়ি ছেড়ে অন্যত্র আশ্রয় নেওয়ার প্রস্তুতি শুরু করেছে।
চোখের সামনেই গঙ্গার (Ganga River) বুকে তলিয়ে গেল ঘর বাড়ি। পুজোর মুখে মুর্শিদাবাদ (Murshidabad) শমসেরগঞ্জের প্রতাপগঞ্জ গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের শিকদারপুর গ্রামে ভিটেমাটি হারা দশটি পরিবার। শুক্রবার একে একে মোট দশটি বাড়ি ফুলে ফেঁপে ওঠা গঙ্গার গ্রাসে বিলীন হয়ে গিয়েছে। সর্বশান্ত হয়ে ত্রাণশিবিরে আশ্রয় নিয়েছে ওই পরিবারগুলো। নদী পারে ভয়াবহ ভাঙন দেখে আতঙ্কিত কিছু পরিবার ইতিমধ্যেই ঘরবাড়ি ছেড়ে অন্যত্র আশ্রয় নেওয়ার প্রস্তুতি শুরু করেছে। গঙ্গার ভাঙনের জেরে নদীর তীরবর্তী অঞ্চলে বসবাসকারীদের জীবন বিপন্ন হচ্ছে। আতঙ্কে দিন কাটাচ্ছে সকলে। কখন কার বাড়ি তলিয়ে যাবে গঙ্গার বক্ষে সেই চিন্তায় রাতের ঘুম উড়েছে গ্রামবাসীদের। যত সময় যাচ্ছে শিকদারপুর গ্রামের পরিস্থিতি আরও ভয়াবহ হচ্ছে।
