শনিবার আসানসোল লোকসভা কেন্দ্রে তৃণমূল প্রার্থী শত্রুঘ্ন সিনহার সমর্থনে কুলটিতে প্রচারে আসেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়।
সন্দেশখালিতে (Sandeshkhali) শাহজাহান ঘনিষ্ঠের বাড়ি থেকে আগ্নেয়াস্ত্র উদ্ধারের ঘটনায় রাজ্য রাজনীতিতে তীব্র চাপানউতোর সৃষ্টি হয়েছে। মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের (Mamata Banerjee) নেতৃত্বে তৃণমূল সরকারের নিন্দায় সরব হয়েছে বিজেপি সরকার। অন্যদিকে শুক্রবার সন্দেশখালি থেকে সিবিআই-এর উদ্ধার করা অস্ত্রশস্ত্র নিয়ে সন্দেহ প্রকাশ করলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী। শনিবার আসানসোল লোকসভা কেন্দ্রে তৃণমূল প্রার্থী শত্রুঘ্ন সিনহার সমর্থনে কুলটিতে প্রচারে এসে মমতা প্রশ্ন তুললেন, 'কেউ জানে না কোথা থেকে কী পাওয়া গিয়েছে। হয়তো ওরাই (সিবিআই) গাড়ি করে সেগুলি নিয়ে এসে দেখিয়েছিল। কোন প্রমাণ নেই'।
