আগামী ২০ অগাস্ট পর্যন্ত সিবিআইয়ের হেফাজতে থাকবেন অনুব্রত মণ্ডল (Anubrata Mandal)। অর্থাৎ আগামী ১০ দিন কেন্দ্রীয় তদন্তকারী অফিসারদের হেফাজতেই থাকছেন অনুব্রত। বৃহস্পতিবার রাতেই অনুব্রত মণ্ডলকে কলকাতার নিজাম প্যালেসে আনা হচ্ছে। অনুব্রত মণ্ডলকে আদালতে তোলার পর সিবিআই জানায়, পার্শ্ববর্তী দেশে গরু পাচার করে সেখান থেকে বহুল পরিমাণ অর্থ আমদানি করতেন অভিযুক্ত। বারবার সমন পাঠানো সত্ত্বেও অভিযুক্ত সিবিআইয়ের দফতরে হাজির হননি। কেন্দ্রীয় তদন্তকারী অফিসারদের তিনি কোনওভাবেই সাহায্য করেননি বলে অনুব্রত প্রসঙ্গে আজ জানান সিবিআই আধিকারিকরা।
