Goggle Layoffs 2024: গুগল থেকে চাকরি যাচ্ছে কয়েক হাজারের, বছরের শুরুতেই ছাঁটাই ৭,৫০০ কর্মীর
গুগল (Goggle) থেকে চাকরি (Layoffs) যেতে পারে আরও বহু কর্মীর। নতুন বছর শুরু হতেই গুগল থেকে আরও কয়েক হাজার কর্মীকে ছাঁটাই করা হতে পারে। এমনই ইঙ্গিত দেওয়া হয়েছে সংশ্লিষ্ট কোম্পানির সিইওর তরফে। অর্থাৎ ২০২৪ সালে গুগল থেকে আরও বেশি করে ছাঁটাই হতে পারে বলে জানান সুন্দর পিচাই। গুগলের বিভিন্ন ক্ষেত্র থেকে প্রায় ৭,৫০০ কর্মীকে নিয়ে এই ছাঁটাই প্রক্রিয়া সম্পন্ন হতে পারে বলে জানান সিইও। প্রসঙ্গত ২০২২ সালের শেষ থেকে ২০২৪, একাধিক বড় কোম্পানি থেকে হাজার হাজার মানুষের চাকরি যেতে শুরু করেছে। সেই তালিকায় অ্যামাজন থেকে আইবিএম কিংবা গুগল। বার বার ছাঁটাইয়ের (Job Cuts) জেরে ভারত-সহ প্রায় গোটা বিশ্বের তথ্য প্রযুক্তি ক্ষেত্রে কার্যত চাকরি নিয়ে আতঙ্ক তৈরি হয়েছে কর্মীদের মধ্যে।
