হকিতে হার। FIH প্রো লিগের ম্যাচে প্যারিস অলিম্পিকে সোনাজয়ী নেদারল্যান্ডসের বিরুদ্ধে লড়ে হারল ভারতীয় পুরুষ হকি দল (Indian Men's Hockey Team)। সোমবার উত্তর হল্যান্ড প্রদেশের আমস্টেলভিনে ভারতীয় দল ২-৩ গোলে হারল আয়োজক নেদারল্যান্ডসের কাছে। খেলা শেষের দিকে মিনিট তিনে আগে পেনাল্টি কর্নার থেকে গোল হজম করে হেরে গেল ভারত। ম্যাচের ২০ মিনিটে অভিষেকের গোলে এদিয়ে গিয়েছিল ভারত। তবে ৩৩ মিনিটের মধ্যে দুটি গোল করে ডাচরা এগিয়ে যায়। এরপর চতুর্থ কোয়ার্টারে, ম্যাচের ৫৪ মিনিটে দলকে সমতায় ফেরান যুগরাজ সিং। কিন্তু শেষরক্ষা হয়নি থিস ভান ডামের গোলে হেরে যায় ভারত। আগামী বছর বেলজিয়ামের ওয়েভরের পাশাপাশি নেদারল্যান্ডের আমস্টেলভিনেই হবে পুরুষদের হকির বিশ্বকাপ।
