সাক্ষী মালিকদের সঙ্গে আন্দোলনকে সমর্থন করে সামিল হওয়ায় হরিয়ানা অ্য়ামেচার বা অপেশাদার কুস্তি সংস্থা (HAWA) তাদের তিন সদস্যকে সাসপেন্ড করল। আন্দোলনরত কুস্তিগিরদের অধিকাংশই হরিয়ানার। HAWA নামের হরিয়ানার অ্য়ামেচার রেলিং অ্য়াসোসিয়েশন হল ভারতীয় কুস্তি ফেডারেশনের অনুমোদিত সংস্থা। এই সংস্থার তিন সদস্য কুস্তি ফেডারশেনের সভাপতি ব্রিজভূষণ শরণ সিংয়ের কঠোর শাস্তির দাবি সাক্ষীদের সমর্থনে সামিল হয়েছিলেন।
