March FIFA International Window: শিলং এর জওহরলাল নেহরু স্টেডিয়ামে প্রথমবার আন্তর্জাতিক ম্যাচ আয়োজন করবে এ আই এফ এফ
মার্চের ফিফা আন্তর্জাতিক উইন্ডোতে ভারতীয় সিনিয়র পুরুষ দলের দুটি ম্যাচের আয়োজন করবে অল ইন্ডিয়া ফুটবল ফেডারেশন (AIFF)। এ আই এফ এফ এর তরফে ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে যে ওই দুটি ম্যাচ মেঘালয়ের শিলংয়ের জওহরলাল নেহরু স্টেডিয়ামে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। গত বছর স্টেডিয়ামটি সংস্কারের পর এই প্রথম শিলং এর জওহরলাল নেহরু স্টেডিয়ামে সিনিয়র পুরুষ ফুটবলারদের আন্তর্জাতিক ম্যাচ আয়োজন করবে। ১৫১০০ আসনের এই স্টেডিয়াম এর আগে ঘরোয়া টুর্নামেন্টের ম্যাচ আয়োজন করেছে। জানা গেছে ব্লু টাইগাররা তাদের সালের কোয়ালিফায়ার ফাইনাল রাউন্ডের অভিযান ওই মাঠে আগামী ২৫ মার্চ বাংলাদেশের বিরুদ্ধে শুরু করবে এবং সেই খেলার প্রস্তুতির অংশ হিসাবে ১৯ মার্চ শিলংয়ের জেএলএন স্টেডিয়ামে মালদ্বীপের বিরুদ্ধে একটি আন্তর্জাতিক প্রীতি ম্যাচ খেলবে।
