রেস্ট অফ ইন্ডিয়া ইরানি কাপ জেতার জন্য মধ্যপ্রদেশকে ২৩৮ রানে পরাজিত করেছে। প্রথম দিন থেকেই পিছিয়ে যায় মধ্যপ্রদেশ এরপর পাঁচ দিনের ম্যাচে আর ঘুরে দাঁড়াতে পারেনি তারা। প্রথম ইনিংসে ৪৮৪ রান করে রেস্ট অফ ইন্ডিয়া তার জবাবে ব্যাটিং করতে নেমে ২৯৪ রানে অলআউট হয়ে যায় মধ্যপ্রদেশ। দ্বিতীয় ইনিংসে ২৪৬ রান করে রেস্ট অফ ইন্ডিয়া কিন্তু বিশাল এই মোট রান তুলতে অসক্ষম হয় মধ্যপ্রদেশ এবং মাত্র ১৯৮ রানে গুটিয়ে যায়। চতুর্থ দিন শেষে মধ্যপ্রদেশে ২ উইকেটে ৮১ রানে ছিল। জয়ের জন্য আরও ৩৫৬ রান দরকার ছিল। প্রথম ইনিংসে ডাবল সেঞ্চুরি ২১৩ এবং দ্বিতীয় ইনিংসে সেঞ্চুরি ১৪৪ রান করেন যশস্বী জয়সওয়াল। নভদীপ সাইনি ৩টি ও পুলকিত নারাং ৪টি উইকেট নেন। প্রথম ইনিংসে এমপির হয়ে শতরান করেন যশ দুবে। সরাংশ জৈন ও হর্ষ গাওলিও হাফসেঞ্চুরি করে ব্যবধান কমান।
