ইন্ডিয়ান প্রিমিয়ার লিগের দল সানরাইজার্স হায়দরাবাদ (Sunrisers Hyderabad) দলের হেড কোচ নিযুক্ত হলেন ওয়েস্ট ইন্ডিজের প্রাক্তন অধিনায়ক ব্রায়ান লারা (Brian Lara)। শনিবারই লারাকে নিয়োগের কথা জানিয়েছে দলটি। এর আগে লারা হায়দরাবাদ দলের ব্যাটিং কোচ এবং কৌশলগত উপদেষ্টা ছিলেন। আইপিএলের গত মরসুমে অষ্টম স্থানে শেষ করেছিল সানরাইজার্সরা। এতদিন সানরাইজার্স হায়দরাবাদ দলের হেড কোচ ছিলেন টম মুডি (Tom Moody)। প্রথমে ক্রিকেট ডিরেক্টর, পরে দুটি মরসুমে কোচের দায়িত্ব সামলেছেন মুডি। গত মরসুমের পরেই তিনি কোচের পদ থেকে পদত্যাগ করেন।
