Toadzilla: অস্ট্রেলিয়ার রেন ফরেস্টে দেখা মিলল বিশালাকার ব্যাঙের, দেখুন সেই অদ্ভূতদর্শন প্রাণীর ভিডিয়ো

কলকাতা: পৃথিবীর বিভিন্ন প্রান্তে প্রায় প্রতিদিনই কিছু না কিছু আবিষ্কার করছে মানুষ। আর ইন্টারনেটের দৌলতে তার মধ্যে অনেক কিছুই বাড়িতে বসে এখন দেখতে পাই আমরা। শুক্রবার টুইটারে একটি বিশালকার কোলা ব্যাঙের (Monster Cane Toad) ভিডিয়ো ও ছবি শেয়ার হয়েছে। চমকে উঠছেন নেটিজেনরা। কারণ এত বড় কোলা ব্যাঙ আগে কোনওদিন কেউ দেখেননি তাঁরা।

জানা গেছে, উত্তর অস্ট্রেলিয়ার (north Australia) একটি রেন ফরেস্ট (rainforest) কনওয়ে ন্যাশনাল পার্কের (Conway National Park) রেঞ্জাররা (rangers) খোঁড়াখুঁড়ির সময় এয়ারলাই বিচের (Airlie beach) কাছে দৈত্যাকৃতির ওই ব্যাঙের (Monster cane toad) দেখা পান। ২.৭ কেজি ওজন বিশিষ্ট ওই ব্যাঙটি সাধারণ ব্যাঙের থেকে ৬ গুণ বড়। ব্যাঙটিকে গডজিলার (Toadzilla) সঙ্গেও তুলনা করা হচ্ছে।
