Kerala: দশ দিনের ওনাম উৎসবের সূচনা উপলক্ষে আজ অথম পালিত হচ্ছে ভগবানের শহর কেরালাতে
ওনাম উৎসবের সূচনায় রাজ্য জুড়ে বহু মানুষ আজ সকালে মন্দিরে গিয়েছিলেন। বিখ্যাত অথাচাময়ম শোভাযাত্রা, যেখানে বিভিন্ন সাংস্কৃতিক প্রদর্শন এবং ঐতিহ্যবাহী শিল্পের রূপ রয়েছে, আজ সকালে থ্রিপুনিথুরাতে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে।
কেরালার ঐতিহ্যবাহী উৎসব ওনামের সূচনা হল আজ। প্রথম দিনে অথমের মাধ্যমে দশ দিনের ওনাম উৎসবের সূচনা হয়েছে। রাজ্যের বেশ কিছু জায়গায় ফুলের কার্পেট বা পুক্কালাম বিছানো হয়েছিল যেখানে প্রতীকীভাবে রাজা মহাবালিকে স্বাগত জানান হয়। হিন্দু পুরাণ মতে মহাবালিকে ভগবান বিষ্ণুর অবতার বামন দ্বারা নিদারুণ জগতে পাঠানো হয়েছিল।
ওনাম উৎসবের সূচনায় রাজ্য জুড়ে বহু মানুষ আজ সকালে মন্দিরে গিয়েছিলেন। বিখ্যাত অথাচাময়ম শোভাযাত্রা, যেখানে বিভিন্ন সাংস্কৃতিক প্রদর্শন এবং ঐতিহ্যবাহী শিল্পের রূপ রয়েছে, আজ সকালে থ্রিপুনিথুরাতে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। কোচির শাসকদের নেতৃত্বে থ্রিক্কাকারায় মন্দির উৎসবে যোগদানের জন্য যে শোভাযাত্রা পূর্বে অনুষ্ঠিত হত তাঁর মত করেই এই ঐতিহ্যবাহী শোভাযাত্রাটি সংগঠিত হয়। রাজা মহাবলীর কিংবদন্তির সঙ্গে যুক্ত থ্রিক্কাকারা মন্দিরে ১০ দিনের ওনাম উৎসব আজ সন্ধ্যায় কোডিয়েত্তম বা মন্দিরের পতাকা উত্তোলনের মাধ্যমে শুরু হবে।
