West Bengal : দার্জিলিংয়ের চিড়িয়াখানায় রেড পান্ডা থেকে স্নো লেপার্ড, পরিচর্চায় কড়া নজর কর্তৃপক্ষের
স্নো লেপার্ড এবং রেড পান্ডাগুলিকে কড়া নজরে রেখেছে চিড়িয়াখানা কর্তৃপক্ষ
দার্জিলিংয়ের সিঙ্গালীলা পার্কে গত ১৫ এপ্রিল জন্ম নিয়েছে দুটি রেড পান্ডা। ঠান্ডার দেশে থাকা এই রেড পান্ডাগুলিকে ভালোভাবে নজরে রাখা হচ্ছে পার্কের তরফে। এর পাশাপশি হিমালয়ান জুওলজিক্যাল পার্কে জন্ম নিয়েছে একটি স্নো লেপার্ড। ১৩ বছর বয়সী একটি স্নো লেপার্ড গত তিন দশকের মধ্যে সবথেকে বেশি বয়েসের স্নো লেপার্ড যা এই ছানার জন্ম দিয়েছে।
বেশ কয়েক মাস আগে নামিবিয়া থেকেও চিতা নিয়ে আসা হয়েছিল ভারতে। তবে তার মধ্যে থেকে পরিবেশগত কারণে অনেকেই মৃত। যদিও রেড পান্ডা এবং স্নো লেপার্ডের যাতে সেভাবে কোন ক্ষতি না হয় তার জন্য কড়া নজর রেখেছে চিড়িয়াখানা কর্তৃপক্ষ।
