মধ্যপ্রদেশের ভোপালে বিজেপির কর্মীসভায় ইউনিফর্ম সিভিল কোড (Uniform Civil Code) নিয়ে নিজের বক্তব্য রাখলেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদি। তিনি বলেন- আজ ইউনিফর্ম সিভিল কোড-এর নামে জনগণকে উস্কে দেওয়া হচ্ছে। একটা দেশ দুটি (আইন) কীভাবে চলবে? সংবিধান সকলের সমান অধিকারের কথা বলে। সুপ্রিম কোর্টও ইউনিফর্ম সিভিল কোডকে বাস্তবায়ন করতে বলেছে। কিন্তু বিরোধীরা ভোট ব্যাঙ্কের রাজনীতি করবে বলে সাধারন মানুষের সঙ্গে খেলছে।
