তৃণমূল দেশে এনআরসি বন্ধ করেছে, ইউসিসি লাঘু হতে দেয়নি। বুধবার এমনই দাবি করলেন বাংলার প্রাক্তন অর্থমন্ত্রী তথা বর্তমানে মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর প্রধান মুখ্য আর্থিক উপদেষ্টা অমিত মিত্র (Amit Mitra)। তাঁর মতে, "বিজেপি দেশের গণতন্ত্রের মৌলিক কাঠামো নষ্ট করছে। এটা আগামীদিনে হতে দেওয়া যাবে না। তৃণমূল নেতৃত্ব দিল্লিতে গেলে তাঁদের অপমান করা হচ্ছে। এইসব গুরুতর বিষয় নিয়ে আমাদের লড়ে যেতে হবে"।
