নতুন তিনটি ফৌজদারি আইন, উচ্চ শিক্ষাযর সংস্কার ও বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়গুলির মূল্যায়ণ, রাজ্যপালের ভূমিকা এবং উন্নয়নের ওপর আলোচনায় জোর দেওয়া হবে বলে মনে করা হচ্ছে।
রাষ্ট্রপতি দ্রৌপদী মুর্মুর সভাপতিত্বে রাজ্যপালদের দুদিনের সম্মেলন শুরু হয়েছে। এই প্রথম রাষ্ট্রপতি ভবনে রাজ্যপালদের সম্মেলন হচ্ছে, উপস্থিত রয়েছেন সব রাজ্যের রাজ্যপালরা। রাজ্যপালরা ছাড়াও এই সম্মেলনে রয়েছেন উপরাষ্ট্রপতি জগদীপ ধনখড়, প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী এবং অমিত শাহ, ধর্মেন্দ্র প্রধান, শিবরাজ সিং চৌহান, অশ্বিনী বৈষ্ণো ও মনসুখ মান্ডবিয়া সহ কেন্দ্রীয় মন্ত্রীরাও।নীতি আয়োগের ভাইস চেয়ারম্যান ও সিইইও এবং কেন্দ্রের অন্যান্য আধিকারিকরাও এই সম্মেলনে অংশ নিয়েছেন।
নতুন তিনটি ফৌজদারি আইন, উচ্চ শিক্ষাযর সংস্কার ও বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়গুলির মূল্যায়ণ, রাজ্যপালের ভূমিকা এবং উন্নয়নের ওপর আলোচনায় জোর দেওয়া হবে বলে মনে করা হচ্ছে। এছাড়াও সম্মেলনে এমন কতগুলো বিষয় নিয়ে আলোচনা হতে পারে যা শুধুমাত্র কেন্দ্র-রাজ্য সম্পর্ক গঠনে নয় বরং সাধারণ মানুষের জন্য কল্যাণমূলক প্রকল্পগুলিকে প্রচার করতেও গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করবে।
