জানা গেছে রাসায়নিক ভর্তি ট্যাঙ্কার উল্টে আগুনের সূত্রপাত হয়েছে। এই ঘটনার জেরে মুম্বই-পুনে যান চলাচলে বিঘ্ন ঘটেছে। সেতুর নিচের দিকে থাকা একটি গাড়িতেও আগুন লেগেছে বলে খবর পাওয়া গেছে।
মহারাষ্ট্র : মুম্বাই-পুনে এক্সপ্রেসওয়ের লোনাভালা ওভারব্রিজে খন্ডালা ঘাটে একটি তেলের ট্যাংকারে দুর্ঘটনার জেরে আগুন লেগে যাওয়ার ঘটনা ঘটেছে। জানা গেছে রাসায়নিক ভর্তি ট্যাঙ্কার উল্টে আগুনের সূত্রপাত হয়েছে। এই ঘটনার জেরে মুম্বই-পুনে যান চলাচলে বিঘ্ন ঘটেছে। সেতুর নিচের দিকে থাকা একটি গাড়িতেও আগুন লেগেছে বলে খবর পাওয়া গেছে। আগুনের তীব্রতার কারণে মৃতের সংখ্যা আরও বাড়তে পারে বলে আগেই আশঙ্কা করা হয়েছিল। শেষ পাওয়া খবরে পুনে গ্রামীণ পুলিশ জানিয়েছে আগুন লাগার ঘটনায় চারজনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে এবং আহত হয়েছে আরও তিনজন। জাতীয় সড়কের একটি পাশ আটকে থাকায় যানবাহন চলাচল ব্যাহত হচ্ছে।
