শ্রীলঙ্কার (Sri Lnaka) নৌবাহিনীর হাতে আটক ৯ ভারতীয় মৎস্যজীবী (Indian Fishermen)। মান্নার উপসাগরে ৫৩৫টি নৌকা নিয়ে রামেশ্বরমের যে মৎস্যজীবীরা মাছ ধরতে যান, তাঁদের মধ্যে থেকেই ৯ জনকে আটক করা হয়েছে বলে খবর। ভারতীয় সীমানার বাইরে বেরিয়ে ওই মৎস্যজীবীরা মাছ ধরছিলেন বলে অভিযোগ শ্রীলঙ্কার। মান্নার উপসাগরে ভারতীয় সীমার বাইরে বেরিয়ে মাছ ধরার অভিযোগেই ২টি নৌকা -সহ ৯ মৎস্যজীবীকে আটক করা হয় বলে দাবি শ্রীলঙ্কার নৌবাহিনীর। রামেশ্বরমের ফিশারম্যান অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের তরফে এই খবর প্রকাশ করা হয়।
