Supreme Court Judge Ceremony: শপথ নিলেন সুপ্রিম কোর্টের তিন নতুন বিচারপতি, শপথ বাক্য পাঠ করালেন প্রধান বিচারপতি বি. আর. গাভাই
শুক্রবার সুপ্রিম কোর্টের তিনজন নতুন বিচারপতি শপথগ্রহণ করেন। কর্ণাটক হাইকোর্টের প্রধান বিচারপতি এন ভি আঞ্জারিয়া, গুয়াহাটি হাইকের্টের প্রধান বিচরপতি বিজয় বিষ্ণোই এবং বম্বে হাইকোর্টের বিচারপতি এ এস চান্দুরকর এদিন শপথ গ্রহণ করেন। তাঁদের শপথবাক্য পাঠ করান প্রধান বিচারপতি বি. আর. গাভাই ()।
উল্লেখ্য, বৃহস্পতিবারই কেন্দ্রীয় আইন প্রতিমন্ত্রী (স্বাধীন দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত) অর্জুন রাম মেঘওয়াল সুপ্রিম কোর্টে ৩ বিচারপতি নিয়োগের কথা ঘোষণা করেন। তিনি জানান, সংবিধান প্রদত্ত ক্ষমতা প্রয়োগ করে রাষ্ট্রপতি দ্রৌপদী মুর্মু ভারতের প্রধান বিচারপতির সঙ্গে পরামর্শের পর, কর্ণাটক হাইকোর্টের প্রধান বিচারপতি এন ভি আঞ্জারিয়া, গুয়াহাটি হাইকের্টের প্রধান বিচরপতি বিজয় বিষ্ণোই এবং বম্বে হাইকোর্টের বিচারপতি এ এস চান্দুরকরকে সুপ্রিম কোর্টের বিচারপতি হিসেবে নিয়োগ করতে পেরে খুশি।
