তথ্য ও সংস্কৃতি মন্ত্রী অনুরাগ সিং ঠাকুর বলেন, ২০২৩-২৪ ইক্ষু মরশুমে চিনি কলগুলির জন্য এই উৎসাহ ভাতা ছিল কুইন্ট্যাল প্রতি ৩১৫ টাকা। চলতি মরশুমে তা ৮ শতাংশ বাড়ানো হয়েছে।
কৃষক আন্দোলনের মাঝেই আখের মত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ফসলের দামে বড়সড় সিদ্ধান্ত নিল কেন্দ্রীয় মন্ত্রিসভা। বুধবার কেন্দ্রীয় মন্ত্রীসভার বৈঠকে একাধিক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়েছে যার পরে অর্থনৈতিক বিষয়ক ক্যাবিনেট কমিটি(CCEA) ২০২৪-২৫ ইক্ষু মরশুমে চিনি কলগুলির জন্য উৎসাহ ভাতা কুইন্ট্যাল প্রতি ৩৪০ টাকা নির্দিষ্ট করেছে।প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদীর পৌরহিত্যে গতকাল এই সিদ্ধান্ত হয়েছে বলে জানান তথ্য ও সংস্কৃতি মন্ত্রী অনুরাগ সিং ঠাকুর। তিনি বলেন, ২০২৩-২৪ ইক্ষু মরশুমে চিনি কলগুলির জন্য এই উৎসাহ ভাতা ছিল কুইন্ট্যাল প্রতি ৩১৫ টাকা। চলতি মরশুমে তা ৮ শতাংশ বাড়ানো হয়েছে। নতুন হার কার্যকর হবে চলতি বছরের পয়লা অক্টোবর থেকে।
