শ্রীলঙ্কায় এবছর ডেঙ্গু আক্রান্তের সংখ্যা ছাড়াল ৮০ হাজার। ন্যাশন্যাল ডেঙ্গু কন্ট্রোলের তরফে জানানো হল এমন তথ্য। রবিবার পর্যন্ত ডেঙ্গু আক্রান্তের সংখ্যা দাঁড়িয়েছে ৮০,১৯২। যার মধ্যে শুধু ডিসেম্বরেই ডেঙ্গু আক্রান্তের সংখ্যা দাঁড়িয়েছে ৩,৭০৪ জন।
ঘটনায় এখনও পর্যন্ত ৪৭ জন মারা গেছে বলে জানা গেছে।
