আগামী ১৪ জানুয়ারি থেকে ১৮ জানুয়ারি ৫ দিনের সফরে ভারতে আসছেন সিঙ্গাপুরের রাষ্ট্রপতি থারমান শানমুগারত্নাম। ১০ বছরের মধ্যে এটি হবে সিঙ্গাপুরের কোনো প্রেসিডেন্টের প্রথম সরকারি সফর। সিঙ্গাপুরের রাষ্ট্রপতি থারমান শানমুগারত্নাম এর এই সফর ভারত ও সিঙ্গাপুরের মধ্যে কূটনৈতিক সম্পর্কের ৬০ তম বার্ষিকীকে চিহ্নিত করবে।ভারত সফরকালে তার নয়াদিল্লি ও ওড়িশা সফরের সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে। সূত্রের খবর রাষ্ট্রপতি দ্রৌপদী মুর্মু ও প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদীর সঙ্গে বৈঠক করবেন তিনি।
