এমিরেটসের (Emirates) বিমানের আঘাতে পরপর ৩৬টি ফ্লেমিংগোর মৃত্যু হয়েছে। সোমবার রাতে মুম্বইয়ের ঘাটকোপরের কাছে এমনই একটি ঘটনা ঘটে। যেখানে এমিরেটসের একটি বিমানের আঘাতে পরপর ৩৬টি ফ্লেমিংগোর (Flamingos) মৃত্যু হয় বলে খবর। সেমবার রাতে ৯.১৮ নাগাদ এমিরেটসের বিমানে আঘাত লাগে ফ্লেমিংগোর। তবে বিমানটি নিরাপদে অবতরণ করেছে বলে জানা যায়। বন দফতরের আধিকারিক জানান, যে এলাকায় বিমানের আঘাত লাগার ঘটনা ঘটে, সেখান থেকে ৩৬টি মৃত ফ্লেমিংগোকে উদ্ধার করা হয়। পাশাপাশি আপও কোনও ফ্লেমিংগোর দেহ মেলে কি না, সে বিষয়ে খোঁজ শুরু করেছে বন দফতরের তরফে খোঁজ শুরু হয়েছে।
