মহারাষ্ট্রের নতুন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী একনাথ শিন্ডেকে (Eknath Shinde) দল থেকে বহিষ্কার করলেন শিবসেনা প্রধান উদ্ধব ঠাকরে (Uddhav Thackeray)। চিঠিতে ঠাকরে বলেছেন যে দলবিরোধী কার্যকলাপে জড়িত থাকার জন্যই শিন্ডেকে বহিষ্কার করা হচ্ছে। এর আগে শিন্ডে-সহ ১৬ জন বিদ্রোহীদের বিধায়ক পদ খারিজের আবেদনের নিষ্পত্তি না হওয়া পর্যন্ত তাঁদের বিধানসভায় আসা আটকাতে আদালতের দ্বারস্থ হয়েছেন শিবসেনার চিফ হুইপ সুনীল প্রভু। বিচারপতি সূর্যকান্ত ও বিচারপতি জেবি পাড়িয়ালার বেঞ্চে এই আবেদনের শুনানি হবে ১১ জুলাই।
