লোকালয়ে ঢুকে পড়েছে বাঘ (Tiger)। কেরলের (Kerala) কারুভারকুন্ডুর মাদারি এস্টেটের এস-বেন্ডের কাছে একটি বাঘ চোখে পড়েছে স্থানীয়দের। জঙ্গলের রাস্তা বেয়ে বাঘ লোকালয়ে ঢুকে পড়লে, স্থানীয়দের মধ্যে আতঙ্ক ছড়ায়। ফলে বাঘটিকে ধরতে খাঁচা পাতা হয় পাহাড়, জঙ্গলের মাঝে। সেই সঙ্গে বসানো হয় একের পর এক লাইভ ক্যামেরা। কেরলের বন দফতর এবং বন্যপ্রাণ দফতর একযোগে প্রচেষ্টা চালিয়ে যেমন খাঁচা পাতে, তেমনি লাইভ ক্যামেরাও বসানো হয়। সেই সঙ্গে মাল্লাপুরম জেলার বাসিন্দাদের চরম সতর্ক করা হয়। জঙ্গল থেকে লোকলয়ে বাঘ ঢুকেছে, ফলে মাল্লাপুরমের বাসিন্দারা যাতে চরম সতর্ক থাকেন, সে বিষয়ে কড়া সতর্কতা জারি করা হয়েছে। প্রসঙ্গত বর্ষার মরশুম শুরু হয়েছে। ফলে পাহাড়ি রাস্তা এবং ঝোপ জঙ্গল থেকে বাঘের হদিশ পাওয়া ক্রমশ কঠিন হয়ে পড়ছে বলেই বন দফতরের তরফে মনে করা হচ্ছে।
