এবার UPI পেমেন্ট ও ডিজিটাল পেমেন্টের সুযোগ সুবিধা দেখভালের জন্য ডিজি সাথী নিয়ে এল রিজার্ভ ব্যাংক অফ ইন্ডিয়া (RBI)। এদিন রিজার্ভ ব্যাংকের গভর্নর শক্তিকান্ত দাস বলেন,  “এই নয়া ব্যবস্থা আমাদের অর্থনীতিকে উজ্জীবিত করবে।” তিনি এদিন  ফিচার ফোনে UPI পেমেন্টের জন্য UPI123Pay ও ডিজিটাল পেমেন্টের সুযোগ সুবিধার দায়িত্বে থাকার জন্য ডিজি সাথীর উদ্বোধন করেন।
