মোদী আরও লিখেছেন, সরকার এবং নীতিনির্ধারকদের জন্য দুর্যোগ ব্যবস্থাপনা একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয়। বিপর্যয় মোকাবিলা দলগুলি দুর্যোগের পরে পরিস্থিতি নিয়ন্ত্রণে আনে। আমাদের দুর্যোগ প্রতিরোধী পরিকাঠামোর কথাও ভাবতে হবে এবং এই বিষয়ে গবেষণায় ফোকাস করতে হবে।
প্রতিষ্ঠা দিবসে জাতীয় বিপর্যয় মোকাবিলা বাহিনীকে (NDRF) শুভেচ্ছা জানালেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী (PM Narendra Modi)। টুইটে তিনি লিখেছেন, "পরিশ্রমী এনডিআরএফ টিমকে তাদের প্রতিষ্ঠা দিবসে শুভেচ্ছা। তারা অনেক উদ্ধার এবং ত্রাণ ব্যবস্থার অগ্রভাগে থাকে, প্রায়শই খুব চ্যালেঞ্জিং পরিস্থিতিতে। এনডিআরএফ-র সাহস এবং পেশাদারিত্ব অত্যন্ত অনুপ্রেরণাদায়ক। ভবিষ্যত প্রচেষ্টার জন্য তাদের শুভ কামনা।"
