কাতারের আমির তামিম বিন হামাদ আল-থানি-কে নজিরবিহীনভাবে স্বাগত জানালেন ভারতের প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী (PM Narendra Modi)। সোমবার সন্ধ্যায় কাতারের আমিরকে নয়া দিল্লির ইন্দিরা গান্ধী আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দরে নিতে গেলেন মোদী।
কাতারের আমির তামিম বিন হামাদ আল-থানি-কে প্রোটোকল ভেঙে স্বাগত জানাতে একেবারে বিমানবন্দরে হাজির হলেন ভারতের প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী (PM Narendra Modi)। সোমবার সন্ধ্যায় কাতারের আমিরকে নয়া দিল্লির ইন্দিরা গান্ধী আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দরে নিতে গেলেন মোদী।দু'দিনের রাষ্ট্রীয় সফরে ভারতে এসেছেন কাতারের আমির। প্রধানমন্ত্রী মোদীকে এমন আন্তরিক সংবর্ধনা কোনও বিদেশী রাষ্ট্রপ্রধানকে দিতে দেখা যায়নি।
কাতারারে আমিরের সঙ্গে আছেন মন্ত্রী, ঊর্ধ্বতন কর্তা এবং একটি ব্যবসায়িক প্রতিনিধি দল সহ একটি উচ্চ পর্যায়ের প্রতিনিধি দল। আগামিকাল, মঙ্গলবার রাষ্ট্রপতি দ্রৌপদী মুর্মু, প্রধানমন্ত্রী মোদী ও বিদেশমন্ত্রী এস জয়শঙ্করের সঙ্গে বৈঠক করবেন কাতারের প্রধান। প্রসঙ্গত, প্রধানমন্ত্রী হিসেবে নরেন্দ্র মোদী দায়িত্ব নেওয়ার পর এবার নিয়ে দ্বিতীয়বার ভারতে আসতে এলেন কাতারের আমির। প্রথমবার তিনি ভারতে আসেন ২০১৫ সালের মার্চে।
