কুয়েতের বহুতলে অগ্নিকাণ্ডের ঘটনায় ৪২ জন ভারতীয় নিহত। তাঁদের পরিবারপিছু ২ লক্ষ টাকা ক্ষতিপূরণ ঘোষণা করেছেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী।
নয়াদিল্লি: কুয়েতে (Kuwait) একটি বহুতলে বুধবার ভয়াবহ অগ্নিকাণ্ড ঘটে। দুর্ঘটনায় মৃতের সংখ্যা বেড়ে দাঁড়িয়েছে ৪৯ জন। মর্মান্তিক দুর্ঘটনায় কেরালার আরও দু'জনের পরিচয় পাওয়া গেছে। মৃতদের নাম লুকোস এবং সাজন জর্জ। ঘটনায় এখনও পর্যন্ত ৪২ জন ভারতীয় মারা গেছেন। ৪২ জন ভারতীয়ের দেহ দ্রুত দেশে ফিরিয়ে আনতে উদ্যোগী হয়েছে নয়াদিল্লি। তাঁদের পরিবারপিছু ২ লক্ষ টাকা ক্ষতিপূরণ ঘোষণা করেছেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী।

কুয়েতের বহুতলে অগ্নিকাণ্ডের ঘটনায় আহত হয়েছেন অর্ধশতাধিক মানুষ। আহতদের কুয়েতের পাঁচটি সরকারি হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসা চলছে।
