দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগণার শাসন থানার খড়িবাড়ি অঞ্চল থেকে নিষিদ্ধ সন্ত্রাসবাদী সংগঠন আল কায়েদার সাথে জড়িত থাকার অভিযোগে দুইজন অভিযুক্তকে গ্রেপ্তার করেছে এস টি এফ (STF, Special Task Force)। অভিযুক্তরা হলেন আব্দুর রকিব সরকার ও কাজী আহসান উল্লাহ। এস টি এফ সূত্রে জানা গেছে তাদের জিনিষপত্রের ভিতরে ভারতের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধের ইঙ্গিতবাহী জেহাদি পত্রপত্রিকা পাওয়া গেছে ।সেগুলি তাঁরা বাজেয়াপ্ত করেছে।
