নয়াদিল্লি: ভারতে প্রতি বছর ১১ মে জাতীয় প্রযুক্তি দিবস (National Technology Day) পালিত হয়। এই দিনটি ১৯৯৮ সালের ১১ মে রাজস্থানের পোখরানে ভারতের সফল পারমাণবিক পরীক্ষার স্মরণে উদযাপিত হয়। দেশের প্রযুক্তিগত অগ্রগতি, বিজ্ঞানীদের অবদান এবং আত্মনির্ভরতার গুরুত্ব দিয়ে দিনটি উদযাপন করা হয়। জাতীয় প্রযুক্তি দিবসে প্রতিরক্ষামন্ত্রী রাজনাথ সিং (Defence Minister Rajnath Singh) এক্স হ্যান্ডলে পোষ্ট করেছেন, ‘জাতীয় প্রযুক্তি দিবসে, ভারত সেই বিজ্ঞানী, প্রকৌশলী এবং প্রযুক্তিবিদদের শুভেচ্ছা জানাচ্ছে যারা আমাদের জীবনে ইতিবাচক পরিবর্তন আনার জন্য নতুন প্রযুক্তি বিকাশের মাধ্যমে অবদান রাখেন। আমরা গর্বের সাথে আমাদের বিজ্ঞানীদের ব্যতিক্রমী প্রচেষ্টার কথা স্মরণ করি যার ফলে ১৯৯৮ সালে পোখরানের সফল পরীক্ষা সম্পন্ন হয়েছিল। এটি ছিল ভারতের ইতিহাসের একটি মুহূর্ত।' আরও পড়ুন: Mamata Banerjee On Mother's Day: 'মা-মাটি-মানুষের সূচনাই তো মা থেকে' মাতৃ দিবসে আবেগঘন বার্তা মমতার
