নয়াদিল্লি: আজ ‘বিশ্ব বন্যপ্রাণী দিবস’। প্রতি বছর ৩ মার্চ দিনটিকে বিশ্ব বন্যপ্রাণ দিবস (World Wildlife Day 2025) হিসেবে পালন করা হয়। ২০১৩ সালে জাতিসংঘ ৩ মার্চ দিনটিকে বিশ্ব বন্যপ্রাণ দিবস হিসেবে পালন করার সিদ্ধান্ত নেয়। মূলত বন্যপ্রাণী সংরক্ষণ ও উদ্ভিদকুল রক্ষায় সচেতনতা তৈরিতে দিবসটি পালন করা হয়। বিশ্ব বন্যপ্রাণী দিবস উপলক্ষে আজ প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী (Prime Minister Narendra Modi) গুজরাটের জুনাগড় গির বন্যপ্রাণী অভয়ারণ্য সাফারিতে অংশ নেন। নরেন্দ্র মোদী এক্স হ্যান্ডলে লিখেছেন, প্রতিটি প্রজাতিই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করে।
