মার্চের শেষে এবার বেতন বাড়ল সাংসদদের (MPs)। এবার থেকে প্রত্যেক মাসে ১ লক্ষের পরিবর্তে প্রত্যেক সাংসদ বেতন পাবেন ১,২৪০০০ করে। প্রত্যেকদিনের জন্য সাংসদরা যে টাকা পেতেন এতদিন ২ হাজার করে, এবার তা বাড়িয়ে করা হল ২,৫০০। প্রাক্তন সাংসদরা এতদিন ২৫ হাজার টাকা করে পেনশন পেতেন। এবার সেই পেনশন বাড়িয়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে। অর্থাৎ প্রাক্তন সাংসদরা এবার থেকে ৩১ হাজার টাকা করে পেনশন পাবেন।
