হাতে আর এক সপ্তাহও বাকি নেই। শেষ মুহূর্তের প্রচারে ব্যস্ত রাজনৈতিক দলের নেতা নেত্রীরা। নির্বাচনী প্রচারে বেরিয়ে লোকাল ট্রেনের সওয়ারি হলেন মহারাষ্ট্রের প্রাক্তন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী উদ্ধব ঠাকরে (Uddhav Thackeray)। শুক্রবার মহারাষ্ট্রের পালঘরে পরিদর্শন সেরে ফেরার পথে লোকাল ট্রেনে চড়লেন প্রাক্তন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী। সঙ্গে ছিলেন উদ্ধব ঠাকরের নেতৃত্বাধীন শিবসেনার রাজ্যসভার সাংসদ সঞ্জয় রাউত সহ আরও কয়েকজন দলীয় নেতা এবং নিরাপত্তারক্ষীরা। পালঘরের ডাহানু থেকে বান্দ্রা পর্যন্ত প্রায় ১১০ কিলোমিটার ট্রেনে যাত্রা করেন তাঁরা।
