স্বরাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রকের (MHA) তরফে জানানো হয়েছে, মঙ্গলবার ২১ মে ভারতে রাষ্ট্রীয় শোক দিবস পালিত হবে।
রবিবার হেলিকপ্টার দুর্ঘটনায় ইরান প্রেসিডেন্ট ইব্রাহিম রাইসির (Iran President Ebrahim Raisi) মৃত্যু হয়েছে। সে দেশের সংবাদমাধ্যম মারফত খবর, ঘন কুয়াশার কারণে পূর্ব আজারাইজান প্রদেশে দুর্গম পাহাড়ের কোলে দিকভ্রষ্ট হয়ে ভেঙে পড়েছে রাইসির চপার। ইরান প্রেসিডেন্টের মৃত্যুর খবর পাওয়া মাত্রই শোক প্রকাশ করে পাশে থাকার বার্তা দিয়েছেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী (Narendra Modi)। কপ্টার দুর্ঘটনায় প্রেসিডেন্ট ইব্রাহিম রাইসি, বিদেশমন্ত্রী হোসেন আমিরাবদোল্লাহিয়ান সহ ৯ জনের মৃত্যুতে শোকাহত ভারত সরকার একদিনের জন্যে রাষ্ট্রীয় শোক পালনের সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে। স্বরাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রকের (MHA) তরফে জানানো হয়েছে, মঙ্গলবার ২১ মে ভারতে রাষ্ট্রীয় শোক দিবস পালিত হবে। এদিন দেশের সমস্ত রাষ্ট্রীয় ভবন থেকে জাতীয় পতাকা অর্ধনমিতভাবে উড়বে।
