Gender Of Person Not Same As Their Sexuality: সমপ্রেমের বিয়ের কি আইনি স্বীকৃতি দেবে সুপ্রিম কোর্ট, কী জানালেন CJI চন্দ্রচূড়
সমপ্রেমীদের সম্পর্ক কি আদেও বৈধতা পাবে? আপাতত এই প্রশ্নই ঘোরাফেরা করছে দেশের অভ্যন্তরে। মঙ্গলবার অর্থাৎ আজ সমলিঙ্গে বিয়ের বৈধতা রয়েছে কি না, তা নিয়ে রায় দেবে দেশের সীর্ষ আদালত। সমলিঙ্গে বিয়ের অধিকার নিয়ে রায় দেওয়ার আগে CJI বলেন, বিষমকামী দম্পতিদের সম্পর্ক অস্বীকার করার অর্থ তাঁদের মৌলিক অধিকার লঙ্ঘন। পাশাপাশি বিয়ে নামের যে প্রতিষ্ঠান রয়েছে সমাজে, তাতে পরিবর্তন আসে বলেও জানান বিচারপতি চন্দ্রচূড়। চলতি বছরের মে মাস থেকে শুরু হয় সমলিঙ্গে বিয়ের আইনি স্বীকৃতি নিয়ে মামলার শুনানি। বেশ কয়েক মাস পর মঙ্গলবার এই মামলার রায় ঘোষমা করবে দেশের শীর্ষ আদালত।
