Four Elephants Dead: বান্ধবগড় টাইগার রিজার্ভে মৃত ৪টি হাতি, অসুস্থ আরও ৫
বান্ধবগড় টাইগার রিজার্ভে ১৩টি হাতির একটি পাল ঘুরে বেড়াচ্ছিল, যার মধ্যে ৪টি হাতির মৃত্যু হয়েছে এবং আরও পাঁচটি হাতি গুরুতর অসুস্থ।
নয়াদিল্লি: মধ্যপ্রদেশের (Madhya Pradesh) বান্ধবগড় টাইগার রিজার্ভে ৪টি হাতিকে (Elephants) সন্দেহজনকভাবে মৃত অবস্থায় পাওয়া গিয়েছে। বান্ধবগড় টাইগার রিজার্ভে (Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve) ১৩টি হাতির একটি পাল ঘুরে বেড়াচ্ছিল। যার মধ্যে ৪টি হাতির মৃত্যু হয়েছে এবং আরও পাঁচটি হাতি গুরুতর অসুস্থ। টাইগার রিজার্ভের কর্তারা বিষয়টি জানানোর সঙ্গে সঙ্গে ঘটনাস্থলে পৌঁছে যান শীর্ষ আধিকারিকরা। বান্ধবগড় টাইগার রিজার্ভের চিকিৎসক ও শীর্ষ আধিকারিকদের একটি দল ঘটনাস্থলে পৌঁছেছে।
সূত্রে খবর, টহল দেওয়ার সময় বান্ধবগড় টাইগার রিজার্ভের কর্মীরা খিতৌলি এবং পাতৌর কোর রেঞ্জের সালখানিয়াতে মোট ৪টি বন্য হাতি মৃত অবস্থায় দেখতে পান। এই ঘটনার খবর পেয়ে বন বিভাগের একাধিক দল আশেপাশের এলাকায় তল্লাশি চালিয়ে আরও পাঁচটি হাতিকে অস্বাস্থ্যকর অবস্থায় মাটিতে পড়ে থাকতে দেখেন। সব সম্ভাবনা বিবেচনা করে এলাকা তল্লাশি করা হচ্ছে।হাতিদের মৃত্যুর কারণ খতিয়ে দেখা হচ্ছে। দেখুন-
